Select Delete Preferences when prompted.Start Final Cut Pro X whilst holding down COMMAND + OPTION.Not sure why but it is an easy step to clear them and won’t affect any of the work you have saved. Sometimes your preferences can cause issues with Final Cut Pro X. These files can be regenerated but this may take a while so you may want to try Step 3 first! If deleting all the Render files does not work then select Delete Optimized and Delete Proxy Media too.Go to File > Delete Generated Library Files….Select your Library in Final Cut Pro X (this is the icon that looks like 4 little squares with starts in it).Deleting them can, in some cases, help to fix any issues that are popping up. Sometimes render files can get corrupted and as Final Cut Pro X tries to save time on re-rendering it will use those render files in the export process. Step 5 is to contact Apple and you may want to do that ahead of these steps if you are unsure of some of the technical detail below. If this doesn’t work proceed to Step 2, 3, 4 or Step 5. I’ve also collected some other steps and a variety of solutions that have been gathered by other Final Cut Pro users. It will help you find issues with plugins and resolve conflicts in your edits. I’ve collected tips in the video below and that is a good place to start. But great for media you may use often on many projects.If you are having issues with exporting from Final Cut Pro there are a few things to try. The drawback of this technique is you end up filling your Media Browser up with files you may not need later. Back in FCPX go to the Audio media browser, to the Logic section, in the Projects folder, to your project name as you saved it back in LPX. From there you can title your export, select a format (AIFF is advised), and click OK. When you're done in LPX, you simply go to the File menu, to Share, and select To Media Browser. Drag that FCPX project onto the track list to add it. In an empty LPX project, open the Media Browser ( F), go to Media, to Movies, to the Final Cut Pro section.

When you export using this preset, in the Settings configure Roles As to Multitrack Quicktime Movie. Set the When Done menu to Publish To Media Browser. In FCXP, create a new Destination from an Export File template. Or from the File menu to go Bounce, Project or Selection, and export an AIFF file to import and use in FCPX. Simply import those manually into your FCPX Event, and edit away.

If you go to the File menu, to Export, and select All Tracks As Audio Files, you'll get the equivalent of your Media Stems originally created with FCPX's Roles.

When you're done in LPX, you have choices.
